I don't know if a new year has ever been so eagerly anticipated as 2021! So many of us were ready to say good-bye to the trials and tribulations of 2020 and start off on a clean slate hoping that things could only get better this year!
Unfortunately that was not true for Jody with Sanctuary Farm Everlasting Care. Early morning on January 23, 2021, her home and the sanctuary experienced a devastating fire.
Jody and the majority of the animals were saved from the fire with only a few minor injuries. Sadly, there were 20 animals that did not survive the fire and Jody's home was completely destroyed. Insurance will be helping Jody to rebuild, but much support is still needed.
As soon as we heard of this horrible incident, Clear & Happy Pools decided to make the January donation to helping Jody and the sanctuary. She started an Amazon Wish List and we purchased the items she indicated were the highest priority. Among those were several chicken feeders and a few two-way sorting panels (used to help relocate the pigs and large animals to new locations on the property post fire).
