For the month's of November & December we decided to combine our monthly contributions and leverage the benefits of "Giving Tuesday". By doing this, we were able to sextuple our donation!
Giving Tuesday was on December 1st, 2020, and many organizations will have generous donors or sponsors that match, or in the case of Barn Sanctuary triple, contributions that are received. As we donated both our November and December donations and then a generous sponsor tripled that, we were so excited to be able to have a much larger impact for this amazing group and the animals it rescues!
This sanctuary was started by Dan McKernan on his family's old farm. His father is also active with the sanctuary as they work to rescue and rehabilitate cows, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, and more! If you would like to learn more about this amazing sanctuary please visit their website below.
